Biography
Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Leah Burchfield Mantini, graduated from Sewanee, The University of the South, majoring in Studio Arts. She furthered her education in fine arts at the Art League School in Alexandria, Va., concentrating on portrait painting and figure drawing. During her time living in Washington, DC she also studied under and apprenticed for two artists. One receiving the honor from The Artist’s Magazine as being selected as one of the top twenty realist artists under forty. After marrying her college sweetheart in 2007, Leah moved to Athens and began sharing her passion for painting and drawing by teaching locally.
